BBSS 2008 will offer a variety of courses taught by recognized experts in their fields. The courses will cover recent developments in different areas of banking, including theoretical and empirical aspects of banking, banking regulation and supervision, financial markets and payments systems. During the courses, the BBSS faculty will be available to discuss research ideas and projects with the program participants. The following courses will be offered:

- Methodological Aspects
The courses are designed for graduate students, faculty members, researchers, central bankers, and regulators wishing to brush up on their knowledge in the field and be exposed to the latest advances in academic research. Partial tuition waivers will be considered for PhD. students and candidates demonstrating financial need.
