Topics: The Center supports projects in all disciplines so long as they focus centrally on women or gender. Applications are accepted for either a semester or an academic year. During the period of appointment, Associates are expected to be in residence in the Five College area, and to attend weekly seminars and other FCWSRC events. Each Research Associate gives a public presentation on her work and is expected to participate actively in the daily life of the Center. No funding is attached to the Associateship.

Eligibility: The Center invites applications from scholars and teachers at all levels of the educational system, as well as from artists, community organizers and political activists, both local and international.
